Analogue Film Workshop

Students who wish to complete their studies this semester can use the workshops, provided that all hygiene regulations are observed and appointments have been made.
In any case, please contact the workshop manager first by email. Describe briefly your project and the time required!

Pay attention to the hygiene concept of the HBK Braunschweig as well as to the current information on coronavirus.

 

The workshop
The analogue film workshop offers production and post-production support for artistic films and projects in Super 8 and 16mm formats. Facilities include a range of different cameras, cutting tables, rear projection, a special suite of technologies for animated film, a laboratory and tools for digitalising analogue recordings in HD. Courses at the workshop offer a comprehensive introduction to the theory of analogue film-making along with an induction into the relevant technology.

Access
The analogue film workshop is primarily intended for students taking courses in film and video as part of their Fine Art degree. The technology can be used for working independently or under supervision. Students wishing to use the workshop must first attend an introductory course and an induction. Access is possible by prior arrangement.
