Paper and Bookbinding

Paper and Bookbinding

Students who wish to complete their studies this summer semester can use the workshops, provided that all hygiene regulations are observed and appointments have been made.
In any case, please contact the workshop manager first by email. Describe briefly your project and the time required!

Pay attention to the hygiene concept of the HBK Braunschweig as well as to the current information on coronavirus.

The workshop
We offer support for students from all institutes working with paper, soft and hard bindings, wrappers and boxes. Materials can be obtained at the workshop in return for a small charge.

Access
Students from all institutes can use the workshop during opening hours to work independently or under supervision. If possible, please register in advance for the dates/times you wish to use the workshop.

Note
HBK students wishing to bind their academic work are asked not to use the paper workshop for this purpose but to use copy shops or similar. The resources at the workshop are intended for artistic projects, including final assignments, and this work will be given priority.

Workshop Open Day
As part of the foundation module, the workshop offers an open day every Thursday during the winter semester for first-semester students enrolled in the Visual Communication degree programme. Dates and participant names will be published in advance.

Staying safe in the workshop
