Vortragsreihe zu transformativer Theorie und Praxis
Die Vortragsreihe des Master-Studiengangs Transformation Design verspricht einen Einblick in Themen, die die Transformation unserer Gesellschaft prägen: digitaler Aktivismus, Critical Whiteness, (digitale) Carearbeit, kollektive Handlungsfähigkeit, Klassismus, kulturelle Aneignung, intersektionale Feminismen und planetare Gerechtigkeit. Die Veranstaltungen bieten eine Plattform für inspirierenden Austausch. Auftakt der Vortragsreihe ist am 21. November um 19 Uhr!

Alê Costa Barbosa is a Brazilian activist and an expert advisor to the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee – CGI.br, where he works on the agendas of platform regulation, educational platforms, internet and democracy, digital inclusion, and digital literacy.

Deborah Enzmann ist Bild- und Medientheoretikerin und beschäftigt sich mit den Auswirkungen der formalästhetischen Eigenschaften der Zeichen auf den Zeichenprozess und die Bedeutung der Emojis.
24.11., 14–17 Uhr (Sprache: Englisch): Climate Emergency Software Alliance: ClimateEmergis: Anastrophic Design for a Planet in Crisis – Ein partizipativer Workshop in Collective Intelligence.
CESA has envisioned a set of “Climate Emergis” tailored to represent and report various facets of climate change. These symbols, once approved by Unicode and released via updates on every smart phone across the globe, will offer people a simple yet powerful tool to share, report, and cooperate to address urgent environmental challenges. The primary aim of this participatory workshop is to engage the creativity of participants in a unique design charette to conceptualize and refine the visual representation of “climate emergis.” Facilitated by CESA research architects Isabel Palacios-Macedo und Tima Rabbat

In this lecture-performance the artist~facilitator Ela Spalding will walk us through her journey in the fields where art and ecology intersect; a path of slow activism and radical interconnectedness that weaves together art-making with multidisciplinary and intergenerational collaboration across sectors and borders. From the cloud forest in Panama, into a decade of musings and moulding with soil and science; with stories, hands, sons and songs; mycelial networks and hopes to build a nature-culture corridor.

Rahel Süß ist Politikwissenschaftlerin und Demokratietheoretikerin und arbeitet zu Schwerpunkten wie radikale Demokratie, Digitalpolitik und soziale Bewegungsforschung.
